One of the finest expressions of winemaking culture from Trentino, Bottega Vinai produces 13 different varieties of red and white wine.

COMMUNICATION OBJECTIVES

In spite of an appreciated presence on the market, the brand suffered of an overstandardized image, which obscured the own personality and the qualities of each single win

CREATIVE SOLUTION

The first repositioning step consisted in reshaping the corporate brand: inspiration was taken from the shape of Trentino itself, and a butterfly was chosen to represent the natural richness of one of the most prosperous Italian regions. The new logo was then turned in gold for red wines and in silver for white wines, in order to underscore a first, relevant image diversification. The second step involved an accurate brand restyling for each variety of wine: each one was featured with the appropriate traditional bottle (Rhine, Bordeaux or Burgundy) and enriched with a scratchboard illustration picturing the specific landscapes where it was grown and produced. The brand enforced its consistency with a more elegant and emotional image, while donating each wine a rich and prestigious tale about its virtues and values.
